How did your love story begin?

I am a survivor of 2 very abusive marriages. I had just left my 2nd husband and was on my way to California to start over with my 3 young children. My sister who lived in Las Vegas said I should stop there for a while as we haven't seen each other for a long time. I found a job and ended up staying in Las Vegas. Jim transfered to the grocery store I was working at and though I absolutely did NOT want another relationship, there was something about him. He was very persistent, thank God !!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We took a vacation to San Diego. We stayed in an rv park and we both fell in love with san diego. One day we took a trolley to coronado islands. walked the shops and walked to the beach. It was the most beautiful beach I had ever seen with golden flakes in the water and all over the sand. We were both raised in Cali, Jim is 9 yrs older, and both love the ocean. San Diego has become my most favorite place to be and I bring home sand every time I go.

What would you do with $20,000?

We have 12 grand children and 5 great grand kids but they are spread out in Arizona, Washington, and Pennsylvania so our dream is to sell the house and buy an rv and travel to be with our family year round. We would use the money for a down payment on the rv. Family means the world to us and we want to be a part of our grandkids lives.
