My person passed in ‘21 after 22 years together. He had a traumatic divorce. After talking on-line, sparks flew when we had our first date! He brought me flowers & I brought him gin & we both brought some “baggage”. We ate, talked, & laughed for hours on our first date. We laugh, cry, & communicate together like we’ve been a couple forever. We’re blessed that our teen daughters are now best friends! He’s my person for the rest of my life. ❤️
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When we went to the CWS baseball championship series in Omaha, NE. We had been together for 10 months & drove 17 hours & 7 states together to watch his Alma mater, the University of Tennessee win the baseball college World Series! I survived a previous spinal tumor & he made sure everything was accessible for us. We had an awesome adventure & drove home a forever pair!
What would you do with $20,000?We would take a trip with us & our daughters to England & Italy to see our maternal grandmother’s birth places. We would also donate to Isaiah 117 House, & then put money towards two teen girl’s college funds!
