This year will be our 37th. We have a serendipity love story. Our lives tried to connect but didn’t until it was the perfect time.

Jim’s cousin Stephanie worked with me and asked if I’d keep her cousin company, she liked his friend. We dated 4 months and then married. My mother was visiting and Jim was talking about his aunt. Mom knew her and asked, did by chance did he go to her house a lot as a child? He said yes all the time to play with my cousin Angie. She said when Doris was about 2 weeks old while visiting my aunt I saw a boy and girl playing and said to her I hope you marry a cute boy like that one day. Chills!!!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our beach vacations. Our son was diagnosed with Autism and it was hard to connect with him. Our first trip to the beach, that kid bloomed. His love of the beach made us all appreciate the little things in life. Pick your battles and be thankful for what you have.
What would you do with $20,000?A family trip. Maybe a luxurious beach like Bora Bora or maybe a beach in Portugal where my husband’s family is from. We already know that we have a special love story, but it continues on with our children and now grandchildren.
