Everything about our marriage is made in heaven. Almost 40 years now. Jim took my hand on our first date and continues today.

We worked for the same company but he was on a different shift. I knew of him, but never met. In March of 1985, we met and chatted without many expectations. In July, we had an official date, in August we were engaged and on October 11th, we were married. That was the beginning of our journey. Many felt it was too fast but in our 30’s and had past troubles to share, we knew our meeting was sent by God. He is my humor, my comfort, my challenge, my best friend and we look forward to the future.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We had some family difficulties during 2010 or so. The holidays were coming up and our plans needed to change drastically. After much thought, tears and prayer, Jim and I decided to spend Thanksgiving in a cabin, with our 3 dogs. I premade our entire dinner, set a beautiful table of paper plates and napkins and then realized I forgot a centerpiece. Jim and the dogs went for a walk and came back with an inverted paper bowl….full of holes…..with wild flowers in it. It was the BEST.
What would you do with $20,000?Being on a fixed income, I know we would take a wonderful trip somewhere. Maybe even a cruise……maybe invite a couple friends!
