It took me weeks to gather the courage to ask her out. When I finally did, she playfully toyed with me before saying yes (I must have looked like a deer in the headlights). That evening was our first date, which, coincidentally, took place on Friday the 13th. Since that moment, we’ve rarely been apart, and it has truly been amazing!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our love story began beautifully on our first date while a band played "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. As we danced closely, our eyes met, and we shared our first kiss. Now, whenever that song plays, we stop everything and dance—anywhere! Once, while driving, I pulled over, opened her door, and swept her into my arms for a dance on the roadside. Those spontaneous moments keep our love vibrant.
What would you do with $20,000?She has two forms of cancer. I would love to take her to every beautiful place her heart desires while she's still with me (hopefully for a very long time). We're simple people. She wants to see the giant redwoods, visit our nation's capital, and Niagara Falls. My greatest joy in life is seeing her smile and making her happy. Winning this contest would mean so much to both of us.
