Jileesa and I met at a DNR Summer camp for adults located in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. I noticed her sitting alone at the end of the table and made the choice that I would sit next to her and started a conversation. We were immediately attracted to one another. We spent the rest of the week flirting, picking each other blueberries, watching the moon rise and hiking together. As we drove home, we sent each other our favorite songs and decided to meet up. The rest is history!

Honestly, it is so hard to choose! We have had a lot of adventures together traveling around the country. Probably one of our favorites is when Jileesa drove us up a two track road. We drove over boulders, through a river (I was furious) until we reached the absolute top point of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The view was spectacular and it was just the two of us. It was one of the best times of our lives and we still laugh about it.

Well, we would be responsible with half and pay off a little debt, then with the other half we would plan an Alaskan adventure together with our kids and dogs! We would love to take an Alaskan cruise or rent an RV and just head north with the family. Alaska is a dream we have together and I know one day we will make it happen. (This would help speed up the process).
