Connect How did your love story begin?

We met of Facebook Dating. Initially you don’t get to see the other persons profile, just their first name. After talking to each other for a few days we exchanged facebook profiles. Kohl asked me “Is your sister a scenic painter at Knotts? And her husband a lounge singer?” I said yes inquisitively. He then proceeded to tell me how he met my sister at a Christmas party only a week before. We thought that was such a coincidence. The universe wanted us together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We love having parties with our friends. We go all out with the decorations. We had a Tiki themed party last year and we sourced many authentic pieces of decor and completely transformed our entire house into a Tiki Bar. Low lighting with lots of colors, bamboo, Bac Bac, palm trees, Idols, we had it all. It was stunning and so much fun for us. It was the best party we have ever thrown. All of our friends were buzzing about it. That was a really magical night and we talk about it a lot.

What would you do with $20,000?

We want to finally go on our honeymoon! We love theme parks and want to visit Phantasialand in Germany as well as several other theme parks in Europe. We haven’t had the chance to travel much because of our limited financial situation. Getting away and seeing other parts of the world is our next frontier.
