Jess and Paul

We are queer and in love! It is rare to meet your soulmate online, especially on a gay dating app. We love movies and cooking.

How did your love story begin?

We met on one of the hottest days of the year in San Francisco and made it even hotter. After that moment, we decided that we should go on a real date. For our first date, Jess drove through Hippy Hill on 4/20 to meet Paul at a cute Italian restaurant in the Inner Sunset. There, we talked for hours and really got to know each other. We started seriously dating after that, but hit a fork in the road 2 months into our journey. Jess went to Europe for 7 weeks, but we grew even more in love.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is choosing our apartment together. It was the last day before Paul and Jess went down to LA to spend their first Thanksgiving together with Jess’ family. We wanted to move in with each other before the new year, and had to make a split decision on a funky apartment with a wonderful landlord. It was pouring rain and we were slightly unsure of the place, but knew that it was the perfect way to start our new chapter, and signed the lease the next day on our way down to LA.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would spend the money on our wedding! This would be a game changer for us, and we could book the perfect venue for our vision! This money would allow us to have more flexibility on our wedding date and more!
