Two broken souls, healed by Jesus—soulmates, best friends, learning love and forgiveness, sharing God’s love our way by living it out.

Jess and I met through unexpected invites with the same friends, then reconnected at a mutual friend’s house party. I was tipsy and insisted on walking her to her car. I asked what melts her heart—she said “people with Down Syndrome,” which also melts mine. I leaned in for a goodbye kiss and dented her car hood with my butt. We laughed so hard, and never stopped. Eight years later, and four years married, we’re still best friends, soulmates, and walking through life hand in hand.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Some of our favorite memories are from Jess’s bodybuilding and powerlifting competitions in Chicago and Vegas. Cheering her on, exploring new cities, and celebrating her strength—those trips brought us even closer. Watching her shine with so much dedication and power made me fall even more in love. We laughed, supported each other, and made memories that still make us smile today.
What would you do with $20,000?If Jess and I had $20,000, we’d first take care of our essentials, then joyfully give a big portion to local animal shelters, our church, and the community. Giving back has always been a part of who we are—sharing love, kindness, and hope however we can. It’s not just about the money, but the joy of making a difference together in ways that reflect our hearts.
