We were friends for many years before our first date, which was a week before she spent three years in Moscow. We briefly messaged each other in the early heydays of the internet with AOL IM (Remember that, anyone?) and were able to know and grow more in love with each other through physical letters, email, and the rare visit Jerry was able to make to Moscow over those years.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In our 22 years of marriage, we have shared many treasure troves of memories, and among them some of the strongest memories are of adopting our cat, Ahsoka, who was pregnant, giving birth to NINE kittens behind our couch, and fostering them until they could be spayed/neutered and adopted, keeping two of her kids in the process.
What would you do with $20,000?Make a few renovations to our home. We have loved our very simple life of enjoying each other, but it also meant living within modest means, and some things on our house need our attention, even more attention than our four cats. We may also set aside some to go on a much needed vacation overseas somewhere... anywhere, though Italy has been in our sights for some time. :)
