We grew up two blocks away from each other and didn’t meet until he was 35 and I was 47. We laugh and cook together every day. He’s my home.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jeremy and Lisa in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met through a friend group, where we met up once per month celebrating birthdays for the month. Bear was super shy and his blue eyes would twinkle across the table, but he didn’t talk much. After three months, Bear showed up wearing a brown, fringed leather jacket and I was hooked.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? The day we were married was perfect! Bear designed our backyard and built our gazebo that we got married in. He was building until the very last moment prior to getting dressed for the wedding. We were surrounded by our family and friends and he gave my son a ring during our ceremony to bind the three of us together. When I danced with my son at our wedding, he told me that he felt so happy and full of joy we finally found our third.
What would you do with $20,000?We would like to remodel our home to make it our Haven. Bear, aka Jeremy, love to entertain and have our family and friends over. It would be nice to set up our home to make it more accommodating for entertaining.
