Connect How did your love story begin?

Our story began at a small town hospital Oliver C Anderson. Our mothers were nurses in the Labor and Delivery Unit. When Jeremiah was born Susanna’s mother changed his first diaper. When Susanna was born Jeremiah’s mother came up with him and that’s is the first day we met. We were playmates through childhood and when we began middle school together Jeremiah states that’s when he fell in love with Susanna. They “liked” each other but before anything developed he moved to Utah with his dad.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memories together were when we were children riding the rides together at our local homecomings. As adults it is spending time together as a family and working together on our farm. The most amazing and heartbreaking moments were seeing Jeremiah when he would come home from his military deployments and the most heartbreaking was watching him pack his bags and board a plane wondering if that was the last time I would see him. These memories though beautiful/painful are our favorites.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would invest the money into purchasing and expanding our family farm to create a lasting legacy for our children. We plan to expand our farm to have a rescue for all animals that are abandoned and abused as well as a program to help veterans cope with ptsd from 20+ years of war.
