She’s the creative spark, he’s the steady strength. Through seizures, storms, and sweet moments—they face it all, side by side, unshaken.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jenilee and Justin Davis in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Jenilee was shy and quiet; Justin was loud, funny, and confident. They met online, messaged for weeks, then talked on the phone. When they finally met in person, he made her laugh nonstop. After that, they spent every weekend together, then moved in, then got married. His confidence brought her out of her shell.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Justin planned to propose in a Tokyo tower overlooking the city—but then COVID hit. Borders closed, plans scrapped. So he switched gears: a beach week in Ocean City, where he grew up. One sunny day, in the waves, he got down on one knee. Now we go back every summer. It wasn’t the plan, but it was perfect. COVID taught us to bend, adapt, and love even deeper.
What would you do with $20,000?Jenilee and Justin always dreamed of Tokyo, a trip that started as a proposal plan and turned into a shared goal. With the prize money, they’d finally go: hand in hand through neon-lit nights, cherry blossoms, cozy ramen shops, and quirky cafes. A blend of romance, tradition, and trend—just like them. A delayed dream, made sweeter by the wait.
