We actually dated back in high school when I was 15 years old and he was 16 years old. We dated for 2 years then went our separate ways. We both remarried and then divorced and then we found each other 20 years later online. We have now been married 20 years in October. He came down to Louisiana to get me and bring me to Maryland and we got married the very next day. We have raised four kids between us and now have five grandchildren
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We have traveled the world together. Now that Steve has terminal stage 4 esophageal cancer and it's spread through the liver and lymph nodes. We have to stay closer to home because he has chemo treatment. I go to every single doctor appointment and every single treatment that he has. I am his 24-hour caregiver now
What would you do with $20,000?Steve is a firefighter for 21 years now and he has to retire now due to terminal cancer. We would use it to spend our last days together with our pets traveling in our camper. Steve's cancer is stage 4B and it is terminal with no cure and we don't know how much longer we have but we want to make the most of it for as long as we can. I'm not working now as EMT because I am off to be his caregiver and also spend every minute we have left together
