We met in our early 20s singing in a Filipino church choir—Jei was the baritone, Gaile the soprano. We bonded over a love for photography and the performing arts, started dating, and eloped a year later. Three years after that, we had a second wedding with family and friends at the same church where we met. Now we’re creative partners, parents, and travel-loving teammates—still making things together and cheering each other on every step of the way.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite memories was exploring Iceland together—shooting, road-tripping, soaking in hot springs, and watching the northern lights. It was a time when we reconnected not just as creative partners but as a couple, soaking in the quiet magic of it all. Our son was with us, making it even more special. We’ve been back several times since—drawn to the calm, the beauty, and the way it always brings us closer.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we’d invest in Archipelago Vocal Project, which we co-founded to uplift Southeast Asian voices through music. What began as a shared love for singing has become our way of giving back—creating space for young artists to feel seen, valued, and proud of their heritage. Building this together has deepened our purpose as a couple, and this support would help us keep that mission growing.
