Connect How did your love story begin?

We met at a bar through mutual friends—two hearts healing from loss, neither looking for love. I was a recent widow and Instagram exec; Jeff, a music artist/producer navigating a tough chapter. During a brief car ride that night, we locked eyes, our hands touched, and the spark was undeniable. Three months later, we took a leap with a romantic trip to Mexico. A year of music, adventure, and falling in love followed.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories is Jeff’s surprise proposal at his album release party. We had planned a joint event to celebrate his first solo album and my debut book. During his set, he paused to invite me up to say a few words. As I thanked our friends and family, he appeared behind me—ring in hand, down on one knee. After I said yes, he finished the song he wrote for me. The crowd went wild. It was pure magic.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d use the majority of the $20,000 to invest in professional equipment and marketing for our new storytelling business, SoulPrint Media—helping us capture and preserve powerful stories from individuals, families, and communities. The remaining balance would go toward a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon after our wedding this October. After years of adventures captured on our YouTube channel Baecation Connect, it would be the perfect full-circle moment for our love story.
