We’ve been great friends for such a long time. We’re known as mom and dad of our friends. We complement each other well.

We met at Crab Apple Whitewater, Jeff had been working as a rafting guide for 6 years. As I trained to be a guide, I didn’t want to date anyone at the company, but for as much as I avoided it, Jeff and I had an instant connection. When we would go on floats after work, I would always sit next to him. Although our lives have brought us in different directions over the years, we’ve always found our way back to each other, both as friends and as partners. Our next adventure is moving to Utah.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Jeff and I have gotten to do a lot of fun cray adventures together, due to how we met, as raft guides, but my favorite memory is from a time Jeff came to visit me while I was living in Atlanta getting my masters. We were cozied up on the couch and as I painted my fingernails, I began to paint his. He offered me the other hand to paint, and we matched for the rest of his visit.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay for our upcoming trip, Jeff recently won a permit to raft the Grand Canyon for 30 days, a trip that is already exciting, but we get to go with all of our friends this time. A lot of folks going need to take off work, or request vacation time. Easing the financial burden of ourselves and our friends would be truly wonderful.
