Connect How did your love story begin?

Both of our mutual friends wanted us to go to a Greek life party. Neither of us have ever gone to a real fraternity party while we were in college and we both ended up being pushed into going. I saw her from across the room and everything stopped. I’ve never felt love so strongly until that moment. During that time I was very shy but I was so head over heels for her I talked for hours and we ended up seeing each other the next day. Since then I’ve fallen deeper into love with her everyday.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We both planned to have a little picnic date on Easter. I dressed in my best suit and drove to pick her up. She gave me a huge picnic basket with a framed picture of us, stuffed animals, and white monsters. No one’s ever put that much thought into anything for me before, and it got me a little emotional. I then gave her a new perfume which I was saving up to get her. She loved it so much. That moment of sharing gifts next to a calm lake replays in my head a lot and always makes me happy.

What would you do with $20,000?

Where both getting through college and have a lot of tuition to cover. Jayla wants to be a music teacher and I want to be a film editor. Film and especially music degrees can take a long time which costs a lot of money. I love her and I want to do the best I can to help her achieve her dream career. This money would not only make our tuitions more affordable but also give us a better foundation for our future life together.
