We met in the most unassuming place—a coffee shop where I worked as a barista while putting myself through massage school. Jay came in maybe once a month, quiet but memorable, always ordering coffee with soy milk. I teasingly called him “Soy Boy” behind the counter. It was lighthearted, but he stuck with me more than I expected. One day, after a little peer pressure from my coworkers, I decided to be bold. As Jay walked up to the counter, I swiftly found myself approaching from the other side.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our trip to Ireland in 2018 is at the top of mind for both of us. Having ancestors from the region and exploring the history together was amazing! We would love to share more of our Wellington adventures with you!
What would you do with $20,000?We would put it in savings, we are hoping to go to Italy next year and back through Ireland, travel is on the radar. More experiences together! We do hope to retire someday.
