Our love story began in college, how else? He was friends with my new dorm mates and was waiting for my cousin and I to arrive to help us move in. Eventually I asked my two best friends if I should just share my feelings and I did! That night we were watching a movie as friends, my cousin fell asleep and he pretended too also, he casually placed his hand in mine and I took it away immediately knowing this was my chance. I kissed him and told him I liked him and the rest is history!

For us being together for almost 11 years I have many great memories. Our engagement: I secretly knew the plan he arranged. My best friend, him and I were in Chi and heading to the zoo (every vacay we go to a zoo) once we get there a lady says “can I take a few photos while I wait for my client. She made us turn around and go apart and on cue we’d turn around and walk, when I turned he was on his knee. I was so surprised, I thought I had more shots to prepare for the kneel but it was magical!

With 20,000 dollars we’d be so grateful, it could help us get to our dream life. 7,000 would go to Helping Hands Humane Society in Topeka, Kansas. We are huge animal lovers and want to give back to our community. The rest would be to help for our wedding and conceiving children. We both came from poor upbringing and with not being able to have kids naturally we are having to pay for everything on our own.
