How did your love story begin?

We met in Sabbath school as children. I had a hard time going to church with my cousins when my mom was unable to attend because she had to work. I would cry thinking these people were going to kidnap me (ridiculous I know lol) One day a boy held my hand so I wouldn't be scared anymore. It wasn't until I saw his mom again in 2022 that I realized it was Jason! He was the boy that helped me to feel comfortable and safe. Despite us going to the same high school..we didn't know the truth until then

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

From the time we reconnected, we have made a lot of wonderful memories. But what we cherish and laugh about is our time in high school. He was a year ahead of me..and my secret crush. I never told him because just seeing him in the halls made me stop breathing. He told me that he always thought I was cute but didn't think I'd be interested in HIM! We both feel blessed that we now have each other and look forward to an amazing life together.

What would you do with $20,000?

I'm sure collectively we would come up with something amazing but I want to give him an amazing gift. I want to have a nice blacksmithing shop built for him. He is in recovery for alcoholism. He's 2 years sober as of April 2025. In his sobriety he's discovered his talent for working with steel. He's made me some gorgeous gifts..he even made rings for our wedding. I would LOVE to give him his dream shop for him to really explore his potential. He made a dream of mine come true,it's my turn
