We would like to thank you for supporting Jason and Dawn Carver in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
HBCU is where it all began, a foundation for lifelong connections! Jason and I met at Delaware State University, introduced through a mutual friend. We instantly bonded over our Philadelphia roots, he from West Philadelphia and I from West Oak Lane. Our shared Philly heritage created an unbreakable tie. Although we were both in relationships at the time, our connection was undeniable. Years later, we reconnected and have been inseparable ever since. We always knew we were destined to be together
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? One of my most cherished memories we shared was embracing the journey of grandparenthood. Our granddaughter is a divine blessing, filling our lives with immense joy. Moreover, we reveled in designing our dream home together, transforming it into a sanctuary of love. Family is the essence of our existence. We felt truly blessed to host our loved ones in Hilton Head, covering all expenses as a token of our gratitude.
What would you do with $20,000?What would we do with 20,000? I'm sure we would bless our church with a generous donation to their building fund. In addition, we would invest in our granddaughter's future, securing her dreams. We would honor my in-laws, who are still with us, as my parents' memory lives on. Hopefully, we would embark on a romantic getaway, celebrating our enduring love for each other.
