How did your love story begin?

Serendipity! We met at Ana’s place of work on a day where she had given up on dating and I was gearing up for a year-long trip. After a short, yet impactful interaction I left the store without asking for her number, only to turn around and see her standing in the doorway. We developed a deep connection very quickly at my going away party, and then spent the next year talking over Skype and messenger while I sailed the Pacific. The distance was difficult but our connection was undeniable.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our first trip to Disneyland in 2022. It was our first trip to Disneyland and as a couple and we absolutely loved it! The funny, but not so fun part and our surprising best memory was that we unfortunately got COVID a day later, and had to extend our trip to quarantine. We extended our Airbnb for an additional 7 days, binged Netflix, and door dashed ramen.. it was amazing! It was what we called our first “lazy Sunday,” which turned into a lazy week together.

What would you do with $20,000?

To be honest, the money would be used to pay off our debt! We want to start our lives together, but have school loans and other things to pay off that is hindering us. This would be a blessing and a huge fresh start to the next chapter of our lives, whatever that may bring!
