How did your love story begin?

We were set up on a blind date. For real! My mother and his eldest sister used to play tennis together when we were very little. They happen to run into each other in a parking lot and while catching up with each other, decided to set up the single brother and single daughter. My mother’s criteria for me was that he was tall, Jewish, and had a job. David checked all the boxes. He called. We went out. And he called again. And the rest, as they say, is our story.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Not to be corny but it has to be growing and raising our family together. We have amazing memories from our wedding and our vacations, all the time spent together. David and I share so many laughs together but the best memories are the ones with our kids. The time spent raising them is so precious and short. While I look forward to the future with just the two of us, we will always cherish these memories with our kids while they’re young.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would love to renovate our house. We bought our home 11 years ago. I was 9 months pregnant the day we moved in and our second child was born a week later. We have had a long list of things we’ve wanted to change over the years and have slowly done some of the smaller, more attainable things but the big renovation we’ve been dreaming of is long due and this prize money would put towards the our dream of completing our forever home.
