Jack and I met sophomore year when he transferred to my school. I was in a rocky relationship, and he became my best friend and biggest support. Though he always had feelings for me, I saw him only platonically—until a weekend at his shore house changed everything. I went home missing him and realized my feelings had shifted. Nervously, I asked him on a date, and the rest was history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Over our 6 years together, we’ve made countless memories, but one of my favorites was the night I told him I was in love. We were at a drive-in, lying under the stars in the bed of his dad’s pickup when he asked, “If you were seeing me for the last time today, what would you need to say?” I looked at him and said, “That I’m in love with you.” It felt like a scene from a movie—and I still get butterflies every time I think about it.
What would you do with $20,000?Our lives together have barely begun, so I know that $20,000 would help us both in many ways. However, knowing Jack, i know he’d make me use it for my nursing school tuition. I begin nursing school in August, and $20,000 would cover almost the entire cost of my degree, which would definitely be life changing for the both of us.
