We meet the summer of 1986 at a cookout. He was there with another woman when we met. He always shared he wanted to meet me due to my hair. Which was a turn on for him. I did not know he had asked my friend to give me his number…three months later. I reached out to him. I was in computer school in Washington DC, on a break and decided to call him. He felt bad that was taking the subway and bus home late at night. He offered to pick me up and take me home. It started there.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The birth of our daughter. After 7 years of marriage. We got pregnant. I was 40 and James was 52 when our daughter now 21 was born. Watching her grow and thrive has been a blessing for both of us. She has gone through tests that no child should have to. She survived and preserved. And because of those tests she is striving to be a lawyer for everyone!
What would you do with $20,000?We never had a honeymoon. This would help us go to Hawaii for a two week honeymoon and provide assistance to our daughter towards law school. That is what we would do with $20,000.
