We met our freshman year of college. James lived on the floor above me in our residence hall. One day I was hanging out with friends in our common area, and James walked onto our floor instead of his while doing laundry. He pointed at the person sitting beside me and said you’re in my math class. The kid who was in his math class said “if I’m in your math class that means shessss in your math class” as he pointed at me. James sat down and chatted me up until he got my Snapchat to “study.”
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our most memorable memories is the night we had our first kiss. James asked me to come up to his dorm, so we could learn how to shag (a dance) together. When I got up there we learned how to shag through a YouTube video, we watched the princess bride, and we talked ALL night. Around 7 am we had our first kiss, and we went to the campus Chick-fil-A for breakfast. He brought me to his house the next week and asked me out on during a sunset sailboat cruise around Hilton head.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use this money towards a wedding and honeymoon. We’re not engaged yet 🤞🏼, but I think that will be sometime next year since I just finished school. Our families live 4 hours apart, so this money would help remove some of the financial burden for them of paying for a wedding (I know they’re going to want to help no matter how much we refuse) and traveling to be there. The rest of the money would be used to pay off student loans.
