Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in friendship, but it quickly felt like something deeper. We met at church while I was volunteering at a ministry fair. I’ll never forget seeing Tre walk in—masked, in a tan suit and a purple shirt (my favorite color). Even without seeing his full face, I thought he was so handsome. He came over, we talked, and I gave him my card with a touch of perfume so he’d remember me. From group events to our first date, love blossomed—and now we’re engaged, ready to build a beautiful!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Out of all our beautiful memories, our favorite is the day we got engaged. Tre planned everything with so much love—he took me to a romantic winery, brought several shirts just to match my outfit, and walked me through a rose garden reading scriptures that spoke to our hearts. He took me to my favorite steak spot and surprised me with a cake made by his cousin. He picked the most perfect ring, and on our two-year anniversary, gave me a moment so full of love, I’ll treasure it forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we would joyfully use half to plan a beautiful, meaningful wedding that celebrates our love and commitment surrounded by family and friends. The other half would be thoughtfully saved as an investment in our future—helping us take a big step toward purchasing our first home together. It would be a blessing that supports both the beginning of our marriage and the foundation for a stable, love-filled future.
