Connect How did your love story begin?

It began in high school (I know cliche, right?) during sophomore year, specifically in world history class. He kept staring at me which at first I thought was creepy, then endearing. Next I was inviting him to hang out with friends and eventually we went on our first date! We graduated high school, and after a few years he purposed during 4th of July fireworks. We bought our first house together at 20 and now we just turned 24!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

When we first bought our house, I remember unlocking the front door and crying (only a little bit). This was not only the first house bought for us, but in my entire family. My parents or siblings have never bought a home, and I remember thinking how blessed we were. We had no furniture, just us and two crappy Walmart lawn chairs. We sat in our living room for a minute ordered pizza, and because we couldn't just sit anymore we danced. Turned on our favorite playlist and just danced.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the 20,000 to get a better functioning car and honestly a new water heater. We would probably go out on a small date night and then save the rest. This past year has been hard financially, with me student teaching we were living on one income. It would be nice to catch up on some needed items and secure our savings a bit more.
