We met at church camp 27 years ago. We have been married for 26 years. God has seen us through some pretty hard times over the years.

Our love story began 2 weeks after church camp. I was helping with the younger children and he decided to drive up there with his mom to see if he knew anyone that was there. We were in a teachers conference, while the kids were doing other activities, someone came in and told me there was a young man out in the auditorium to see me. I came out and was looking around every where. Mind you we had never talked yet. I seen him and he was grinning so big. We talked for a little bit and then he left.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The first time he ever came down to my house, we weren't dating yet, but I was so nervous that day, that we done a lot of walking. He wore dress shoes, so they weren't made for walking,lol. He asked me to be his girlfriend on my little pocket diary that I had and when he did, I asked him if he was serious and he said why wouldn't I be? I said let's go walking, so we walked again. He told me later on that his feet were so sore the next day. Of course I said yes, this was on July 2nd, 1998.
What would you do with $20,000?We would give some to our children. We have 6, but only 5 are here with us on earth. We have a 17 year old that made it to Heaven before us, she will be gone 3 years in August. We miss her so much everyday. We would probably use some to do some home repairs and then save the rest.
