Connect How did your love story begin?

we actually met at a skateboard event, J was with their friend, and I was with mine. at the time, there weren't a lot of 'girls' who skated, but I had corralled all the 'girls' I could find into a group and invited everyone to the park to skate- J and their friend were the only two that said yes. J was very quiet, filming with their camcorder, sitting at the top of the bowl. fast forward a year later, I slid in their dms and the first time we hung out, it was until 6 am, and the rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

how could I choose a favorite memory when our entire 6+ years of dating has been the best experience and memory of my life if I were to suddenly not have it anymore? my favorites range from as simple as sharing a meal that one of us made for the other to them throwing me a huge surprise birthday party with dozens of my favorite people (birthdays were never a thing for me growing up), to me winning a $3400 jackpot and taking us to experience 2 months in my motherland for the first time, Vietnam.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would buy J all of the videography and DJ equipment they wanted, buy them a truck, buy their mom a car, and throw a dart on a map and take the both of us on a trip for as long as we wanted to. oh, and I would get myself a lot of mini film for my polaroid to take photos of it all.
