We are loving and kind to one another but we‘re free to voice our concerns and work through issues without an issue. She’s my best friend.

We met when I was 4 and she was 5 in preschool. I know it sounds corny but I remember like it was yesterday (I’m only 29). I saw her and a light went on in my head. After preschool I looked and looked for her but I didn’t see her again until 9th grade. We were friends and asked her to see the Batman begins and we’ve been together ever since. Engaged to marry in December.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I’d say proposing to Izzy was the best moment. It was Christmastime and the lights were up. We got engaged in Ligonier, Pa at the town center/diamond. There’s a pavilion with a Christmas tree all decked out and the town I think was in a hallmark movie. Anyway, I snuck her family and my family down, which is an impossible secret to keep given modern tracking tech. Even ran into her parents with their faces in their phones to find where to hide but we played it off beautifully. It was perfect.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d put that money towards buying a very modest 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house in our hometown, close to our respective families, to raise a family of our own. Currently living with my parents is lovely and I’m very grateful to my parents but to raise a family we need our own space. Money is tight and with the wedding it’ll be years before we have enough for a down payment. But that’s what we’d do and probably too much information.
