It all started on the streets on Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam. We met randomly one night and were instantly drawn to each other. Amal lived in Korea at the time, Ivan in Texas. It was never going to work for many reasons. But after 3 years we both ended up randomly at the same time in NYC living 10 minutes from each other. Was it fate? Destiny ? Who knows. Ever since we’ve been inseparable. I wish I could explain this pull but it’s like we knew each other in a past life. Nothing can explain it
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It was a rainy Sunday afternoon and we decided to go to the Met, we love art. We get to the 5th floor and split ways to take in the art at our own pace. After a few hours we meet up at the cafe at the top floor. We’re both quite tired and decide to share a chocolate tart. We talk about our favorite pieces and then actually taste the tart. We would close our eyes and describe what we’re tasting, the notes and flavors. We were in our own bubble
What would you do with $20,000?Part of it would go into investments (financial freedom is very important to us) and the other would be used to travel around. Traveling is a passion we both share and we have safari and South Africa on our radar.
