How did your love story begin?

I was in the 5th Grade 1981, and Mr.Burgeson walks in with a new student - Sandra, and introduces her to the class. In that moment a ray of light beamed around her. To this day, I still remember what she was wearing: green pants, an off-white blouse with flowers, her hair pulled back in a ponytail, and I fell in love with her. I thought of her that whole day and night. Growing up through out our school years, we were always just friends. In 1996 began dating, and married in 1997.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

December 2004, Israel had bought Christmas decor sign “Let It Snow”, he put in the yard, and told our Daughter Shania, “ you never know what can happen” - sure enough on Christmas Eve, the snow began to fall in our home town at that time, Orange Grove, Texas. My grandfather had passed away November of 2004, I truly believe he sent us the snow that Christmas. Driving to Mom’s house to celebrate Christmas Eve, holding hands & seeing the snow fall onto the windshield was truly magical and special

What would you do with $20,000?

We would help both of our Mom’s with whatever they need. Help our children with whatever they need, and pay bills.
