Our love story begins at our favorite bar. I went out for a drink at a mixer the bar was hosting. Even though the drinks were cute and strong, the men weren’t. So I decided to leave. As I was walking out John was pulling in. We instantly recognized each other from social media. As he approached me, we exchanged hellos. And instead of a handshake he went in for a hug. And just like that, his smile and hug confirmed that he was cuter and stronger than any drink there. And we’ve been together since

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is the night we made a playlist. A friend suggested to us that we should create a playlist for each other. The songs should describe how you feel about the person the playlist is for. After listening to the playlist John made for me, music doesn’t resonate the same way. I can relate now to the depths of love across all genres. I knew he was in love with me. And when he listened to my playlist. John knew I was in love with him. It was our first expression of love.

What would you do with $20,000?

Well over Memorial Day weekend John proposed. Yes we are engaged!!! So if we were to win the $20,000 it would probably go towards are wedding. We both live in Atlanta, GA and our family lives in Cleveland, OH & Detroit, Mi. So if we’re getting married here in Atlanta we would love to have a great reception big enough for our family and friends to enjoy our union. But we’ve also been planning and having discussions on a home. So $20,000 would make a great down payment for our future forever home
