I knew as soon as I saw Jay that he was "the one." I was widowed at 41 and alone for 17 years. When I saw him I felt a sensation down to my toes. I gave him my number and encouraged him to call. He lived in Eastern Mass and I was out west. He drove out to me to go on a hike and have been together since. We moved in together after 6 months. My friends where I lived thought I was crazy. But the childhood friends that we shared understood we grew up together and knew this was right!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first date was a hike near me. I wanted us to do a loop up and back. We ended up going up and over, coming out the other side of the mountain. I thought, Uber. Jay said "guess we are hiking it again". And we did! That first date lasted 8 hours! Just talking all day. I'd never experienced such attachment so quickly. And from that day on we were a couple. A year after moving in together we married on our deck before family and friends. We are so happy together!
What would you do with $20,000?I have never been to Paris, the city of love. I always wanted to go with someone I loved, but that hasn't happened. Now that I am with Jay I would use that money to take us on the dream trip I have waited for. The city of love with the man I love sounds just perfect.
