TV drama meets chess strategy: a producer & a 2x national champ—one plays the game, the other makes the show. Never a dull moment
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
The first time I saw her, I was taking care of my 6-year-old goddaughter, Mia. She tugged on my shorts and said, “You’re not marrying her!” Somehow, the child knew—I was already in love. On our second date, I told her we would get married and have three kids. After one month of dating, she broke up with me—by text. Three years later, we got back together. Six months after that, we were married. Now, 15 years later, we have two kids, a dog, and a life I wouldn’t trade for anything.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Hard to pick just one, but one of the most unforgettable moments was our wedding—surrounded by family and friends, sharing that special day with us. Our invitation was a booklet filled with drawings from our 12 godchildren. It was personal, playful, and full of love—just like the day itself.
What would you do with $20,000?We’ve been working hard for 15 years, and it’s time for a well-deserved vacation together. I’d finally get to take her to Paris—and to Bled, Slovenia, where she once played in the World Chess Championship, sitting side by side with Kasparov. She was only 17 at the time
