We’re a great couple because we always reassure our bond and support each other’s goals or growth.
We would like to thank you for supporting Honey Dumplings in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met our sophomore year of high school through cross-country. We were friends for a few months before he asked me on my first date, October 30, 2015. We walked to Baskin-Robbins, where I got pistachio and he got wild ’n reckless. He was so nervous the ice cream melted all over his hand. Afterward, we didn’t want the night to end, so we went to a random Japanese event at school. A few weeks later, he asked me to be his girlfriend!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory with my boyfriend was camping in Zion. We finally had a reliable car and gear, and on day one we hiked the Narrows. That night, we found out we won the lottery to hike Angels Landing. The next day, we made it to the top and cracked open a couple of beers. It meant so much because he’s afraid of heights, but he pushed through. Sharing that adventure made me feel so proud and grateful to experience it with him.
What would you do with $20,000?I’d use the money for a home, travel, and a wedding…because let’s be real, the only thing holding us back from living our best couple life is cash. We’ve been together almost 10 years, so I think it’s safe to say we’re committed. I mean, if we won the 20K I might even pop out a kid soon… but only after he finally proposes. Priorities, right?
