During a tough time, Brian was staying on a close friend’s couch, watching her dog for extra cash while she was out of town. One evening, as he returned to her house, he met Jessica—a childhood friend of hers visiting from Clintonville, Wisconsin. Coincidentally, Jessica was married to Joey, one of my childhood friends. That unexpected meeting sparked a new friendship between Brian and Jessica… and through her, Brian and I were introduced.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of my favorite memories with Brian is when a stray chicken wandered into our yard. After a month, we took her in and let her free-range. One day, we discovered eight hidden eggs. Wanting to honor God with the first, we discarded them—only to crack open the rest and find six had double yolks! With odds of less than one in a billion, it felt like a clear sign of blessings and favor over our lives.
