Connect How did your love story begin?

Heidi worked as a bartender at a local restaurant, and I was one of her regulars. One night it was super busy, so I asked if they were hiring. I was hired on the spot, and Heidi was my trainer. We went out after work a few times, and after spending some time together realized that there was definitely something special there. I moved to Boston to go back to school a few months later. But we kept talking and I moved back after graduating to be with her. That was 6 years ago and still going strong

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We’ve had so many good memories so far, it’s hard to choose. But one that stands out is our honeymoon. We flew to Boston and spent Halloween in Salem, Mass; which is the best place to be for that season. We are a big hockey family, so the night before Halloween we went to a Bruins game, (we won!). The next day we had a big lunch in Boston and took the train to Salem where we took part in the huge Halloween celebration there. Good food, family, and great memories. What more could one ask for?

What would you do with $20,000?

We recently had a pretty big life altering change and moved to a different state. We would use that money in a few different ways. First we would pay off some debt so we can start our new life off on the right foot. Then we would plan a nice family vacation for us and our 6 year old. It’s been so long since we’ve had a proper getaway, and with all of the changes life has brought us lately it feels very needed. Also, we’d be able to plan a family reunion with extended family, which sounds amazing
