Through trauma, death & every other event that life has thrown our way, the past 17 years has only made our love for each other stronger.
We would like to thank you for supporting Heather & Dex in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our love story began when we were both ready to accept that we can be better simply by opening our hearts to the right person. It was love at first sight and by all account should have never worked. We learned how to love and be loved, as our authentic selves, providing a safe space that helped our love reach the greatest heights.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When our daughter was born. We decided very shortly after moving in with each other that we wanted to become parents together, so we did. We knew we were each other's person right away. That was 16 years ago and we've never regretted a single day of it.
What would you do with $20,000?Our dream is to buy a plot of land and build a sustainable homestead with solar and farming agriculture that we could grow into something special not only for our family but our community. Something that we could build together and be proud to leave to our daughter.
