It began in 2nd grade when we met. By 5th grade, we shared our first kiss. Life went on, and we reconnected at our 20 year high school reunion. After that, we ran into each other every few years at random places. Finally, after a 40 year hiatus, he got the courage to ask me out again. A year later we were engaged. Two years later we were married.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our wedding in 2024! We spent a year planning our beach wedding. Then two hurricanes destroyed our venue within one week. We had two weeks to plan an entire new wedding - and we did it! We lost our deposits from the first wedding and had to spend almost double for the new wedding, but we were determined to keep our date, as it was very special. You can always make more money, but you cannot buy time!
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay off our wedding!!
