Jake messaged me on Instagram in 2018 and would occasionally comment on my pictures with cheesy pick up lines. He asked me out on three separate occasions, but I didn’t agree until the third time. He lived in Jacksonville, FL and I lived in Gainesville, FL at the time. He drove to me in Gainesville for our first date and we ended up going out for tacos and margaritas at one of my favorite spots. We did long distance for over two years while I finished college and the rest is history!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is when we got engaged at Tallulah Gorge state park in fall of 2021. We went hiking and when we got to the top of the mountain, jake proposed. It was a beautiful view and very intimate (no one else was up there) . We spent the rest of our vacation exploring that side of Georgia and just enjoying the new chapter of our lives we were entering!
What would you do with $20,000?We would finally take our honeymoon. We got married in 2022 but due to financial hardships, we never got to take our dream vacation as a married couple. We would use the rest as a down payment on our first house!
