Mutual friend introduced us. More like, I was divorced, after 17 years with my first love, and catching up on lost time. After three years of bachelor debauchery, it was love at first sight. I picked Stacie up for our first date, and she walked down the stairs to open the door of her 2nd floor apartment. I was head over heels before I even saw her face.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Every night, EVERY NIGHT, she can’t fall asleep well unless my hand is on her hip. I LOVE that connection. It’s a sweet thing born out of a horrible 10 years of me being an unpredictable alcoholic. I was drinking when I met her in 2010. Detox in 2019. Sober-ish since. I put her through hell with the booze. Now, it’s a beer or 2. Then, it was literally a handle of vodka a day! EVERYTIME she goes to sleep, I thank God for sending my angel.
What would you do with $20,000?Sobriety is great. But it comes at a price. I live in constant pain from years of roofing and ice hockey (goalie). Dozen operations and procedures (and sobriety) have lessened the pain greatly, but my business has suffered. I’m exactly $20,000 behind on my mortgage. Either that or a trip to Italy. It’s up to her
