I was in my senior year at Chapel Hill, Richard had graduated a few years earlier & was working on campus. My thumb couldn’t handle any more app-swiping, but when I saw his profile I knew in my gut I wanted to meet him. He asked me out for drinks almost immediately. We got together right as quarantine hit, so being in each other’s “bubble” meant we got quality time to get to know each other right from the start.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have so many small but loving private moments together that it’s hard to choose. One of the bigger memories is our trip to LA, specifically watching the sunset from the Griffith Observatory. It’s a magical scene from La La Land for a reason! We’re both actors trying to come up in the industry so the entire trip was inspiring and had us excited for our futures together.
What would you do with $20,000?Pay for our wedding/honeymoon! Both of our parents are extremely hard workers and we don’t want them going into debt for us. This is the first wedding between me & my sister and Richard & his brothers, so we just want our parents to have fun and enjoy themselves!
