We connect through strong communication, love for the arts, community giving, and caring for our 4 rescue cats.

We met in college, bonded over theatre, and grew close while navigating life from very conservative religious backgrounds—before either of us came out. After graduation, we went separate ways: I moved to Texas, they moved to Georgia. A couple years later, during the 2020 pandemic, we reconnected online, started dating, and quickly fell in love. They drove to Texas to pick me up, and by September, we were married in a beautiful mountain ceremony in Georgia.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? One of our favorite memories is our honeymoon tour of a wolf reservation. We had a private visit, learned about conservation, and got to share space with some truly amazing wolves. As animal lovers, it was a deeply meaningful and unforgettable experience to be up close with creatures we both admire and respect. It felt magical to connect with each other and with nature in such a special way.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we’d take steps toward our dream home, help loved ones by paying off a few things for family and friends, and give back to the animal rescue that’s brought so much joy into our lives through fostering. It’s important to us to use any blessing we receive to support others and make a positive impact in our community.
