Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in the high school band room. She was in a Batman t-shirt with a little cape ok it and just smiling with her friends, I fell in love, but she didn’t know it yet. I moved schools later that year and sadly lost touch with her until our high schools played each other in football. As a captain in her band and me in mine, we met up once again and from there began our journey through life together. A picture perfect end to high school, and beginning to life.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The day I proposed, we were going on a camping trip with her family. Her mom and dad knew I was going to propose as did her sister. I had the ring in my left pocket as we rode together, she had no idea the entire ride there. She was just going on about her girls trip and how much fun she had. We got to where we were going and as we took pictures I couldn’t get the ring out of my pocket and she said “don’t put your hand in your pocket for pictures dummy!” And then BAM “will you marry me?”

What would you do with $20,000?

We would put it towards our first home, we fell on some rough times when I changed to my dream career. She’s been nothing but my rock and my support, believing in me every step of the way and keeping my head on straight. I would love to use the money towards a house for the person who has made their heart my home, my wife.
