He was a new state trooper in my town. I was a waitress at the local burger joint and also a teller at the local bank. Everyone in this small town wanted us to meet so we did! He proposed 5 months later. We will celebrate 26 years in September.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?He is now an agent with the United States Secret Service and has been doing that for almost 20 years. We’ve had a lot of cool experiences together in that capacity and with the exception of the births of our 4 children I would have to say leaving the detail for VP Harris. We had a departure meeting with her and our children. I remember her words to us and watching her shake each of our children’s hands and thanking them for our sacrifice and then seeing the look of pride on his face.
What would you do with $20,000?We would probably take a trip together. We married in September. Every year that is a black out time for agents because of the United Nations in New York. They are all hands on deck to provide protection for visiting heads of state. So, we haven’t taken an anniversary trip ever!
