My best friend’s girlfriend lived in Ny. We road-tripped from Chicago, where we lived, to NY, for their girlfriend’s birthday. At the birthday party, I met their girlfriend’s best friend, Ana. But Ana had a boyfriend at the time. So we became casual instagram friends, just sending memes, and saw each other when I came to visit after my best friend moved to NY. And then one day Ana was single again..
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The day before they asked me out, they showed me rings they wanted. We were on a row boat in Central Park when I wanted to tell them I loved them, but we weren’t even dating yet. They’d been single for a few weeks and I knew they needed time, so I made it clear what I wanted & said, when you’re ready, ask me. It didn’t take long. We were out to eat, & mid conversation they glitched- a full minute of just spaced out staring. Then they said, what am I waiting for, this is it, & they asked me out.
What would you do with $20,000?I’d buy the ring I’m still saving for, take them on a trip and ask them to marry me in a way they deserve. With the romance and fairytale this love is made for.
