Our love story ignited on Hinge, just 3 miles apart in LA! On a rainy evening in WeHo at Bottega Louie, I, a Muslim from Bangladesh, met Grant, a "Jack Mormon" from California. We bonded over pasta, realizing we were an "M&M" (Muslim & Mormon) duo from different planets. Three dates later, we dramatically deleted Hinge, because, well, it was clear we were meant to be!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our personal anthem, Rod Stewart's "Have I Told You Lately," became even more special the day we met the legend himself! We were filling up our car when Rod Stewart pulled into the next pump in his Ferrari. Grant exclaimed, "Rod, it's fate!" He nodded and acknowledged! At that exact moment, we noticed the time on my phone: 11:11. Now, every time we see 11:11, we joyfully belt out, "Have I told you lately that I love you?" It's our quirky rock-star romance. We married on 11.11 too.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we'd throw a wild Muslim-Mormon mega-bash in LA for our 11/11/25 anniversary! Anika's family will fly in from Bangladesh and NYC to mingle with Grant's Cali crew, all to the tune of "Have I Told You Lately." We'll have M&Ms (the candy and us!) fueling a dance-off uniting cultures. Amidst the fun, we'd also donate $5,000 and collect essentials for Operation VET, bringing warm holiday support to military families.
